Challenge as Opportunity for Growth on All Levels
Whenever there's a diversity of perspectives, roles, personality styles, cultures.... misunderstandings can lead to costly miscommunication and diminished effectiveness. Yet whenever there are divergent views, there is also great potential for growth, learning, and creative transformation.
In many situations, working together effectively on a shared project can be one of the best ways to transform conflict. Often, participating in a well-facilitated team project or in a series of effective planning sessions leads to improved relationships.
Yet other times, it may be advisable to begin with some focused work with the individuals involved. In conflict transformation work with individuals, my role is to listen to all parties and help everyone feel heard. By eliciting the gifts and contributions of each participant, I assist people in creating new options together.
While basic elements usually include an initial needs assessment, sessions with individuals, and dyad or small-group sessions, my work is always customized to address your unique situation.
